Hudson Valley Property Owners Association, Inc. is a Non- Profit Corporation organized and incorporated under the laws of the State of New York.
The corporation is formed as a non-charitable not-for-profit as defined in the Not-For-Profit law. No part of the assets, income or profit is distributable to, or enures to the benefit of, its members, directors or officers except to the extent permitted under this statute.
The purpose of the corporation is exclusively for the promotion of the general welfare, improvement of business conditions and common business interests of property owners within the nine counties of New York State commonly known as the Hudson Valley, namely, Columbia, Greene, Ulster, Sullivan, Dutchess, Orange, Rockland, Putnam & Westchester Counties. The Corporation is organized under section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code and herein stated as follows:
This not for profit corporation will engage in general public education, legislative advocacy, public awareness, and other activities in order to promote the improvement of business conditions and the general welfare and common business interests of member property owners.
